The three villages of Mountain Brook, AL have plenty to offer. Crestline Village has its swanky restaurants and hometown vibes. English village is cozier and a little more upscale. But today, in Part 1 of my Mountain Brook Village series, I’ll focus on Mountain Brook Village and some of the new restaurants and dessert spots you might have missed in its recent expansion!
Sons Donuts has more than just donuts to offer. Did you know they also sell frozen popsicles? Their donut menu is always stacked with regulars and rotating seasonal options. If you find yourself in the area, you have to try the Maple Brown Butter donut. It’s *chefs kiss*.
If you’re looking for a more substantial meal, hop on over to Melt for the best grilled cheese in town! Their flavor combos are always unique and tasty. Next time you’re there, try one of my all-time favs, the Ole’ Smokey.
Dear Ladybird Taco, thank you for being here. Your tacos are out of this world.
I could probably eat one of their tacos for breakfast every morning and never get tired of it! They are that good. If you haven’t yet, you’ve got to try their chorizo on the breakfast menu and their brisket on the lunch menu!
Jeni’s is taking the ice cream world by storm, and I am totally okay with it. There’s nothing like a warm waffle cone filled with a few massive scoops of Gooey Butter Cake ice cream. If you’re a real ice cream fan, subscribe to their pint club and they’ll send you a curated box of four ice creams every month!
Later this year, Mountain Brook Village will be adding Crumbl Cookies to the family! Each week, Crumbl releases a brand new menu. Some of them reappear often (like the famous Chocolate Chip), and others are more rare (hello Brownie Sundae!). The fun flavors are sure to keep you coming back each week for more!
Check back to my blog each month for more updates on whats going on in Birmingham!
