As a Birmingham engagement photographer, I love hearing all the unique ways that couples meet and fall in love. I always enjoy a good online dating success story, and these two are the perfect example! Annie and Mark met online, dating long distance for a year before Mark finally moved to Birmingham from Huntsville, AL. At that point, things got SERIOUS. They both knew where their relationship was headed! Now I have the privilege of getting to know these two and capturing some beautiful engagement photos for them!

Over the course of our time together, I’ve learned that Mark loves to rock climb and Annie loves to hike. They’re the perfect outdoor couple! Additionally, they have a new poodle, named Binx, who they absolutely adore. They love attending concerts, traveling the world and living life together!

For their engagement session, we explored the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and dodged a ton of puddles at the abandoned Altadena Golf Course. It’s a good thing these two love the outdoors, because we walked through some pretty muddy terrain to get all these great shots! Annie and Mark are getting married on October 28th at The Club, and I just can’t wait to photograph them again!
