Emily and I met at A Cappella Choir camp over pizza. It was our first ever day at Samford as freshmen, and we were wide-eyed about all the experiences ahead of us. Emily and I became really close, and I still call her a dear friend to this day. I am so thankful to know Emily and to have walked through life with her, and I am just giddy that she’s marrying Frank!

Emily will tell it better than I, but her and Frank’s love story is simple and sweet. They started off as friends, drinking tea together every once in a while to catch up. It blossomed into more, and they soon found that their hearts aligned with similar passions and a deep love for Jesus.

Capturing this engagement season for them was so special! We took most of these shots at a parked tucked away in Homewood. It’s where Frank expressed that he liked Emily, and it became a memorable spot for them. It’s so fun to photograph couples who are so truly in love!
