get to know me
Have you ever met a new friend and just immediately felt like you should rent an Airbnb together for a weekend and make your significant others (who have never met each other) share a room? Well take it from Rebecca and me, it’s a blast!
In all seriousness, when Rebecca and David reached out to me about capturing their wedding, I knew we’d be fast friends. We talked about so many exciting plans during that first phone call, as well as Rebecca’s dream of having their engagement session at 30A! Only problem was, she wasn’t quite sure how to make that dream a reality. Then it hit me: a couples trip! Ryan and I had already been discussing a beach trip that summer, and this was the perfect opportunity to make some new friends, spend time on the beach and make Rebecca’s dreams come true! So Ryan and David said “yes” to bunking up, and the rest is history.
We spent much of the weekend separated as couples, but loved randomly running into each other on beach walks and grabbing dinner together! We ate at Fish Out of Water in WaterColor, and David got to eat fried shrimp for the first time in years because they catered to his allergies! Rest assured, they received a 5-star review.
When it came time for Rebecca and David’s engagement session, we begin at Cerulean Park, a gorgeous green space in the heart of WaterColor, full of walking paths, water features and so many blooming florals.
Next, we made our way over to the adorable streets of Seaside. Rebecca changed into a blue dress that perfectly matched the surrounding architecture! We chatted more about all the exciting wedding plans (which Carli Jo and the incredible Threefold Events team will be coordinating!) and enjoyed the quiet streets of this gorgeous 30A beach town.
Our last stop was Rosemary Beach, and we certainly made the most of it. After grabbing a few giant pineapple drinks, we ran over to the water and I watched these two fall even deeper in love! When David looks at Rebecca, it melts your heart. And when Rebecca looks at David, you know for sure he’s all she sees!
I absolutely loved getting to spend some quality time with Rebecca and David, and Ryan and I got an awesome beach trip out of it as well! I’m looking forward to October where we’ll get to celebrate these two all over again – it truly can’t get here fast enough!
If you love what you see and are interested in your own engagement session at 30A, inquire on my website and let’s chat about it!
