I was so excited to see James and Jessica’s inquiry in my inbox. A gorgeous Fall wedding for the sweetest couple at a ridiculously stunning venue…how could I say no!?

This past week, we met up to capture their engagement photos and get to know each other a little more! Our adventure started on the Pedestrian Bridge and historic Morris Avenue. I’m a sucker for any fun spot downtown, but especially that cobblestone street!

James and Jessica met while they both worked for Regions. He was living in California and she was here in Birmingham, but that didn’t stop them! Despite the daunting challenge, their love for each other grew and grew. After two years of  long-distance, James made the decision to move here to Alabama, marking a new and exciting chapter in their lives together.

Next, we hopped on over to Railroad Park! This half of the session included an extra special guest: OnOn the dog! OnOn is Taiwanese for “peaceful,” and is a nod to James’ family in Taiwan. Despite the cold that day, we had such a great time running around the park with An-An. I mean, just look at that sweet face!

I’m so excited for James and Jessica to see these, and I hope they’re able to cherish them for years to come! Let’s do it again in November!!!
