Botanical Gardens Anniversary Session, Birmingham, AL | Eleanor Stenner

For the past three weeks, Brendon and Jonee have been living in a hotel.

You see, for the past five years, Brendon has patiently waited on the kidney transplant list. These two, and our whole church family, have prayed for a kidney for years and three weeks ago, the call came through and the next day they were on their way from Atlanta to Birmingham! Alllll praises to God for His kindness, timing, testing and sanctification in this process. It’s taught our church to pray and wait patiently and expectantly. And now we’ve witnessed His miraculous healing.

It’s been so fun having these family friends in my city the past few weeks too… a little taste of home. We’ve had meals together, sat in the hospital room and church together and wound up doing a mini shoot at the Botanical Gardens! I loved showing them a little of the Magic City (even if all my restaurant suggestions were closed this past Sunday which left us outside in the heat!)

I’m thankful to have seen God’s provision so clearly poured out on Brendon and Jonee the past few months. Even when your eyes can’t see it in your own life, I’m thankful that God reminds us of His faithfulness. Happy going home day, Blairs! You are loved!
