Let me tell you about these two.

Hard working. Kind. Thoughtful. Married for five years and most recently dog parents! Lauren and Matt met during their time as Samford students. They both did an internship in D.C. for a few weeks and starting hanging out a lot… and that hanging out turned into dating, engagement and marriage!

The Johnsons moved to D.C. for a few years together and just moved back to Birmingham! I actually took Lauren’s job at Samford when they moved to D.C., so it was quite the challenge stepping into the big shoes she had left. I couldn’t imagine a better predecessor. Now that both our Samford days are over, it was really fun to reconnect and spend time at Red Mountain Park!
