The way Michael looked into Nicole’s eyes was like he didn’t even see the beautiful view behind them… She was enough!

When I first hang out with a couple together, I really try to determine their “vibe” as quickly as possible to document their love accurately. When we began, Michael kept whispering funny things in Nicole’s ear and she would gently laugh. As the session kept moving along, I loved watching their personalities come out! They’re both really calm and steady together, but throw in some piggy back rides and goofiness and they’re a power team. We spent this sun-filled evening together on the top of a mountain in Birmingham and it was pretty dreamy.

Michael currently lives and works in Austin, so I was honoured that they took the time for an engagement session while he was here for the weekend. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next March at The Barn at Shady Lane and for these two to be long distance no more!
