They started the session by saying, “Did you hear that Chick-fil-A changed from peanut oil to soy oil?”

You know you’ve met die-hard fans when they’re starting off the conversation talking about deep-fried chicken! I photographed Emily + Joe’s wedding in 2021 and had a blast with them throughout the whole process. They’re fun-loving, hilarious, thoughtful, question-askers, silly and a whole lot of sweet.

Because I was wanting to experiment somewhere new, I invited them along with me for a fun shoot at Oak Mountain State Park and then … who’da thought … Chick-fil-A! We finished the night chatting and laughing over nuggets and it was the best way I’ve ever found to end a shoot!
