Melissa and I sang together in college at Samford University. They were four of the best years of my life as a student, but especially in A Cappella Choir.

I always remember Melissa’s deep, soulful voice and her kind nature. She’s sweet, but she’s also sassy. She’s not the center of attention type of girl, but people gravitate toward her and she can be the life of the party. And it seems that she’s met her match in Sean! He’s kind, and he makes Melissa laugh through whispered jokes and little connection points.

I’m so excited to be photographing their love story in this season, getting to walk with them toward September 10 when they get married at Johnson Ferry Baptist. It’s guaranteed to be an emotion-filled today, with family coming in from all over the world. We’re going to celebrate big over what God has joined together!
