Meet Claude and Connie, one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.
These two met each other back in the 80s, but only reconnected very recently. They both attended Samford University (go Bulldogs!), and Claude’s dad was actually the Dean of the School of the Arts. Additionally, Claude graduated from the Cumberland School of Law, and Connie now directs the Samford Academy of the Arts. This couple is a walking Samford ad and I love it! Naturally, that’s where our session began.
Their first date was at the Vulcan Statue, so we knew we had to revisit the spot for their engagement session. It’s where Claude asked Connie to marry him, so of course we had to recreate the moment and photograph Claude down on one knee! It’s the cutest photo you’ve ever seen, and it’s waiting down at the bottom of this blog for you!
These two were coworkers for a while, bonding over their love of Samford and dedication to higher ed. They dated for six months before getting engaged, and they’ll be husband and wife this upcoming Spring.
They were incredible models for me, hitting all the right poses and even suggesting some of their own. I can’t wait to see where the Lord takes these two on their new journey together!
