If there ever was a photographer’s dream in real life, this would’ve been it! Accompanied by Mr. Llama, decorative tassles and lots of pillows, we celebrated Amelia’s first birthday in style with a cake smash in the woods! The morning light streamed in perfectly, she was happy and that cake looked goooooood.

This session was special for me. Having photographed Sara and Kyle’s wedding and engagement session back in 2014 (one of my first weddings!), it was precious to photograph sweet Amelia! She is a bubbly baby with lots of smiles and love for her parents…..and she definitely loves cake (like any good baby). I hope you enjoy this backyard cake smash session!
