Nestled in the outskirts of Helena live the sweet Doss Family. They’ve lived in their house for two years now and just welcomed their first child, Jack, into the world. It was such an honour to be let into their home and photograph the first few days of Jack’s life.

The feel of the session was quiet, simple, sweet and tender … just like the start of life. It was intimate and special for my first encounter with them to be documenting their first moments as a family, and I am so grateful.

They are going to be wonderful parents and I look forward to hopefully seeing them and sweet Jack again!
