The first time I photographed the Lahrs, Emma was in a crib.

It was actually my birthday that day, a few years ago in July, and I so enjoyed time with them as they brought their first child into the world. They were figuring out diaper changes, how to tend to her cries and soaking up as many snuggles as they could.

Fast forward a few years later, and the Lahrs introduced Jacob to my camera! He’s turned into the sweetest little dude, and I love documenting them as a family of four! During the session, Emma ran up to me multiple times to give me a hug, and it was a gift to have an energetic little one wrap her arms around me in excitement!
