We were strangers in a parking lot in Mountain Brook, Alabama, until we realized all our mutual friends and hit it off right away! That’s the gift of being a photographer … being let in to strangers’ lives and instantly developing a friendship!

Morgan, Austin and Walker were a treat to have in front of my camera on a humid October afternoon at Jemison Trail. Yep … we live in the South, and it never gets very cold this time of year! The chose excellent transitional summer-to-fall outfits, but we also whipped out my handy dandy fan 😂 They willingly got in the creek, wading through patches of slippery pebbles and created such a fun memory for their family (and for me!). I loved being the person to capture their first pictures as a family of three and am thrilled to share these images with you!
