So let me tell you a short story…

Right before this shoot on east campus at Samford, I was scouting the area and stepped into a HUGE mud pile. Like, a mud pile right next to a swamp. You see, I really love nature photography and could spend hours outside during golden hour. And if you haven’t picked up on this by now, I’m very clumsy. Ants crawled over my shoe and I tried to scrape the mud off with a leaf… to no avail. I spent the rest of the shoot walking around barefoot — the epitome of summer.

Katie and Matt were really fun to hang out with after a long day of work. They were relaxed, lovey, full of laughter and excited to meet little Abigail. I can’t wait for all the sessions to come with this little family! I hope you enjoy these images!
