Emma picked off a petal one by one… She was enchanted with the bunch of roses her parents had brought to the family session, but was totally content just playing with one. The pink scent, soft petals and easy carrying device (stalks are helpful things) were the perfect little distraction when she needed some extra pep!

I had the honour of photographing this little family during Emma’s first week of life. It was a quiet morning in July (my birthday actually!) and as I pottered around their house taking portraits of them, I loved getting to know their gentle personalities and witness their love for each other. This day at the Botanical Gardens was no different! So thrilled to share this family’s pictures with you again!

Joe and Hanna, no matter how much effort is required, how little sleep you may get, how many trials come your way… may you always strive to love Jesus with everything you have, so that little Emma sees Christ in you and desires the same love. You are incredible parents!
