get to know me
Getting to photograph past clients as they grow into new seasons of life is one of the greatest joys of this job! I first met Kristin and Anthony during their engagement season, so when they reached out years later asking for family portraits, my heart did a little happy dance. Seeing them now, settled into parenthood, felt so sweet and full-circle. Their mini session at Chace Lake Park was the perfect backdrop for catching up and celebrating this past fall season.

And then there’s Theo. Oh my goodness. From the very first moment, he absolutely stole the show. Full of giggles, curiosity, and the brightest little personality, Theo brought so much life and joy to our time together. He loved every second of exploring the park, and his laughter made the session feel effortless and fun. Photographing kids like him, right in the middle of their wonder-filled toddler stage, is such a gift.

Mini sessions are quick, but they can still be incredibly meaningful, and this one was exactly that. Watching Kristin and Anthony soak in their sweet boy, laughing right along with him, reminded me why I love family photography so much. If you’re considering a family portrait session this upcoming year, I’d absolutely love to hear from you!
