At six months old, babies are full of expression, curiosity, and budding personality. Sweet Matilda is no exception! Instead of doing a traditional newborn session, Marigrace and Adam Jacobs waited until this stage because they wanted photos where their little girl’s personality could truly shine. And shine, it absolutely did. She was so content and attentive the entire time, taking everything in with those bright blue eyes and giving me the sweetest moments to capture!
We began in their cozy home, where the Jacobs spend most of their days soaking up life as a family of three. Matilda melted right into every scene. She snuggled in her parents’ arms and showed off each and every one of her adorable expressions.
Her nursery, with the cutest peel-and-stick floral wallpaper (which took some real dedication to install!), made the perfect backdrop. The flower wall added such a charming pop!
To wrap up the session, we stepped onto their back porch, which is truly their little haven. It’s a place where they unwind, drink coffee, and enjoy slow moments together, so photographing them there felt perfectly right. Matilda was all smiles and calm curiosity as she nestled between her parents, and I loved getting to freeze those everyday, meaningful moments.
The Jacobs are such a loving trio, and this six-month session was the sweetest reminder of how joyfully they’re walking through this season together. I can’t wait to see sweet Matilda grow!
