The Kent family’s mini session at Altadena Valley Park was one of those full-circle moments that makes this job feel extra special. Three years ago, we stood in this very same field for Sarah and Kevin’s maternity session, dreaming about the little boy they were about to meet. And this year, watching Jack run around that same grassy hill felt nothing short of miraculous.
Jack is truly full of life. His facial expressions will make you crack up and melt all at once. He has the sweetest, biggest grin, and it’s impossible not to smile back. And that bright red hair? It suits him perfectly. It glows in the late afternoon sun, making him look like a tiny beam of joy, which he certainly is.
Sarah and Kevin are the most loving, gentle, intentional parents, and you can see how deeply they adore their sweet boy. The way they watch him, scoop him up, and laugh at every one of his little antics is precious to witness year after year. Photographing this family again in the same spot where their story shifted so beautifully felt like such a gift. I’m already excited for the next chapter we get to capture together.
