My Friday afternoon was filled with showing my sister and her best friend around my city, Birmingham Alabama. I love driving around downtown, pointing out buildings, talking about new projects and soaking up views! This was our four-part itinerary for the day, as explained in pictures:

1.Go to the Vulcan! Located on a hilltop in Birmingham, Vulcan has the besttttt view of the city.

2. Go to the John’s City Mural. It’s right next to John’s City Diner, and you always feel welcomed in Birmingham.

3. Go to MELT restaurant in Avondale. Grilled cheese mac ‘n’ cheeses. Need I say more?

4. Experience Step Sing! It’s Samford University’s biggest tradition, and it only happens once a year. But you can put it on your calendar for next year! 🙂

We had a great weekend and I’m thankful for time spent with family. Come visit again soon! 🙂
