I  am excited to announce that I’ll be doing an independent study with Samford University’s photographer, Caroline Summers, next semester. She is a brilliant photographer with so much knowledge and insight I am looking forward to gleaning from! This is a really neat opportunity and I am so thankful for the Lord’s provision in it!

I think I’m going to start posting more Samford events on here. I carry my camera around quite frequently, shooting for all sorts of events, functions and get-togethers. This coming week is the inaugural Homecoming Ball, the Homecoming Game and tailgate, the Journalism and Mass Communication Department’s Wall of Fame induction ceremony (the person they are inducting founded the Samford Crimson and Entre Nous–I’m excited to attend!) and a few other exciting events that I’d love to share!

But for now, the Samford Jazz Band concert, featuring vocalist Rebecca Rafla (my talented roommate)…
