I’m so thrilled to share with you all the results of my recent grad session with Alex Cook, a senior at Samford University! I’ll never tire of my sessions there, and Alex’s sweet personality and beautiful smile made this shoot all the more special!

Originally from Nolensville, TN, Alex toured Samford for the first time with the intent of becoming a Musical Theater major! However, it wasn’t long before the Lord turned her path towards Music Education, and she’s thankful every day for it!

Our session was actually the first time Alex had stepped foot on campus in a while. Being in the final semester of Music Education means student teaching, and she can most often be found at an elementary school in Alabaster gaining hands-on experience. Her favourite part of the student teaching experience is getting to help little kids make music all day! What could be more fun than that!?

Every year, I capture the Samford Acapella team portraits, and Alex has been a part of the team for all 4 years!  That team shoot is one of my favourite things to be a part of every year, and I’m so glad Alex reached out to me when it came time for her graduation. I can already tell she’s going to be wildly successful in her Music Education career, and I can’t wait to see where her next journey takes her!
