Ashleigh Jones is getting ready to graduate from Samford University! Our session on Samford’s beautiful campus was a fantastic way to celebrate her achievements, look back on the past four years and get excited about her next steps.

Ashleigh’s journey at Samford began with her expecting to be a music major. However, her path shifted as she discovered new interests, which happens to plenty of students in their first year of college. Despite the change, she never lost her passion for music, and she continued to be deeply involved in Samford’s orchestra throughout her college years.

One of my favourite parts about shooting senior sessions on campus is when students introduce me to new locations! Most of the time, I feel like I know Samford’s campus like the back of my hand, so it’s always special to discover a new location or work on shooting a familiar spot from a new angle.

There’s a particular shot from this session that I’m really in love with: Ashleigh throwing her cap in the air, framed by the trees with the library in the background. The trees created a perfect border, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

Working with Ashleigh was an absolute pleasure, and I’m so honoured to have celebrated her graduation with her through photography! Congratulations, Ashleigh!
