McKenna just moved from Columbia, South Carolina just in time for her senior year at Hoover High in Birmingham, Alabama.

It’s a huge transition moving states, let alone doing that right before one’s last year of high school. She’s adjusted like an absolute champ, though, and I loved spending the afternoon hearing about how she’s settling in, what her friendships have been like and her thoughts about college next year. We began at the Botanical Gardens where she graciously stood in multiple bushes for these images 😂, then we ventured along Morris Avenue, stopping by some of my favourite spots!

McKenna is a special one with so many talents, but the main thing about her is that she’s kind. I hope you love this session; McKenna and I sure did!
