As a freshman on the Samford Quad during golden hour, Emily posed for her professional headshots. I was beginning to photograph more in my college years and Emily was kind enough to entrust me with her headshots. I saw the sun and exclaimed, “you look like a golden goddess!”

This week Emily, a music teacher-turned grad school applicant, posed for her professional headshots yet again in front of my camera. She reminded me of what I said all those years ago and it is true still today! She is a golden goddess! The gleaming sunlight was present at the Botanical Gardens and goodness gracious I can’t get over how beautiful it is this spring! It makes me giddy thinking about those AMAZING blooms and wildflowers scattered across the immense acreage.
