Rebekah & Emma: Senior Portraits at Samford University

Friends, this blog is a bittersweet one. As spring reveals its vibrant colours over Birmingham, it brings with it a season of celebrations and farewells for all the graduating seniors, including Rebekah Willard and Emma Cobb. These two girls have been a vital part of my life the past three years as I’ve led their DGroup, and capturing these images is the best way I can think of to show just how proud I am of the women they are and continue to become!

Rebekah and Emma are attached at the hip. Their friendship has grown into something so beautiful over the past few years of school, and capturing their bond was both an honour and a delight! They did such a great job being each other’s hype squad, and when they were both in front of the lens, the giggles were unstoppable.

Emma is graduating with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and is on her way to crush it as the newest social media intern at the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association. What that means is, Emma is staying in Birmingham, and I couldn’t be happier to know this sweet friend of mine will still be close by!

If you’ve been following along on social media, you might already know Rebekah’s post-graduation plans! She recently joined the ESP team as our first Associate Photographer and will soon be expanding our business into Nashville, TN. On May 18th, she marries the love of her life, Clark Walker, and the two will be moving to Hendersonville, TN!

I’ve been so unbelievably lucky to do life alongside these two girls, and I’m thankful every day for our friendship. I will forever cherish all the memories we made together while they were students at Samford, but I couldn’t be more excited for all the memories I know we’ll make in the future! I can’t wait to watch Emma grow here in Birmingham, and I’m so excited to see Rebekah step into a new journey as a wife and explore life in a new city. They both have such exciting seasons ahead of them, and I couldn’t be prouder!
