This past June I met up with Hannah Burrage at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for some portraits to commemorate her upcoming senior year! Hannah goes to high school in Tuscaloosa, and she wanted a senior portrait experience that would be a bit different from her friends. She was willing to make the trip up here to the Botanical Gardens, and I’m so very glad she did!
Hannah is a talented go-getter! She just made All-American on her high school cheerleading team, and is a role model student that all the younger girls look up to. Not to mention, she was a natural in front of the camera!
Her parents, Jeremy and Jenny, couldn’t be more proud of her. Jeremy has been my pastor at Capstone Church in Tuscaloosa for the past 10 months, and I loved getting to hang out with him and Jenny during this session!
If you’ve been in Birmingham the past few weeks, you know how crazy the temperatures are getting. It was incredibly hot out, and we were all feeling it by the end of this session, but still had so much fun exploring the gardens together!
Hannah was stunning in her pink floral gown, and she brought the sweetest blue dress to change into. She perfectly matched all the garden vibes!
I’m so thankful that Jenny reached out to me about capturing these portraits for Hannah, and even more thankful for the way she, Jeremy, and the community at Capstone Church have welcome Ryan and I this past year! Hannah was a joy to photograph, and I can’t wait to hear about all she will accomplish this upcoming year!
