get to know me
I shot Gianna’s senior portraits at The University of Alabama on another beautiful spring day! The campus was bustling with all sorts of end-of-the-year events and students heading into their final few weeks of classes. There’s definitely something in the air this time of year…maybe it’s the “senior slide” mixed with tons of pollen.
Gianna and I got connected through her friend, Shay Hill, whose senior portraits I shot just a few weeks before. Gianna loved the way that Shay’s photos turned out (as did I!) and reached out to me shortly afterwards. It’s always such a sweet compliment when clients refer me to their friends! You can check out Shay’s blog as well to see the results for yourself!
After hopping around the center of campus, we ended our session at the Walk of Champions. Gianna’s sorority little (also named Gianna!) joined us for a few photos as well! Then, just as things were coming to an end, we were met with a major surprise.
Paige Acker-Price, a past bride, friend, and future cousin-in-law (if that’s even a thing), is the director of University Programs at UA. Her team happened to be organizing a Senior Day event at the stadium while we were there! She allowed us to slip in, cut the line and take a few of Gianna’s photos in front of the field!
I had such a great time getting to know Gianna and enjoying another stunning session on UA’s campus. If you’re an upcoming grad looking to take senior portraits at the University of Alabama, inquire today on my website and let’s chat!
