The Glimpse: February 2022

This month I photographed 16 mini sessions.

So many amazing people got in front of my camera, and even though it was freezing, my heart was warm from all the fun interactions on Valentine’s weekend!

This month we hosted our annual missions conference.

Global Impact Celebration always has a way of making me want to pack my bags and go on the mission field. It’s an orienting week where we as a church open our hands, expectant about what God is going to do among us. Whether the Lord gives a new perspective, a re-ignited fire for personal evangelism or a calling to go, it’s a beautiful week of encouraging, challenging and connecting with one another. This year, and for the first time ever, we had a team of five photographers who served. It was incredible watching them learn, grow, help each other and serve the church. Such an encouragement to my heart.

This month I photographed the sweetest newborn session.

I don’t publicize newborn sessions, but I loved this one because I photographed this couple’s engagement, wedding, maternity and now new family. Spending time with the Harrys and getting to be around little Hudson was such a gift!

This month we celebrated my sister.

Sarah gets married in JUST TWO WEEKS (I can’t believe it), and we got to celebrate her and Austin at a shower thrown by our home church family. It was an encouragement to watch special people shower Sarah.

This month I photographed some fun sessions!

Not many people willingly venture out in the cold to have their pictures taken, but these sweet people mustered up the strength and we had SO MUCH FUN. I’m excited for spring, when the calendar will be full of people in front of the camera!

This month I got to spend time with friends.

Whether it was in Chattanooga with a childhood friend (a trip on which we booked flights to ENGLAND), walking on Lakeshore with an old roommate or celebrating a birthday, I’m so thankful to have had sweet time with friends this month!
