This month we made a TV show!

Working at Shades is always so exhilarating… you never know what you’re gonna get! Working with my #dudecrew is one of the joys of my week, albeit fast-paced and full of thrills! This month we made a TV show — an hour-long Christmas special featuring Drew and Ellie Holcomb! It was a crazy fun week and I even got to sing with the Holcombs. Eeeep! Check it out here.

This month my friend had a baby! 

Sweet Caroline let us come over to meet baby Charlie, and he is a perfect angel baby. We passed him around the group as he slept and it reminded me how much I love smelling baby heads, haha. I love this group so much and am thankful to have walked through adding babies to the mix!

This month I continued dodging the virus… 

Honestly, it feels like I’m dodging bullets all the time!!! Our community group hung out on Halloween (my least favourite day of the year besides like every Tuesday) and it was fun time together.

This month we went looking for pumpkins… 

…And were quite unsuccessful, but we got it lots of snuggles!

This month my friends got engaged! 

So so so very happy for Stewart and Anna Claire! It’s two years in the making and it was a joy to celebrate the future Parks’! Being with this group makes me reflect on the sweet time I had living across the street from these dudes.

This month I had five weddings and 11 sessions…

And I crashed at the end of it!! It was super fun celebrating all my couples and fall families, so now the edits begin!

October was a WHIRLWIND — one of the busiest months in some time — but I’m grateful for this job that pushes me, keeps me on my toes, forces creativity and allows ministry to take place. On to a new month, here we go!
