If you’re looking to have FUN at your wedding, talk to Blake and Jessie Hughes, because they had an absolute blast!

When I arrived, I began by shooting some detail shots including the cutest koozies featuring their sweet dog! I always love when couples future their pets in their wedding! And the koozies make for a fun keepsake.

As I photographed the girls getting ready and Jessie getting into her gown, I couldn’t help but notice how completely stress-free Jessie was! She’s truly one of the most chill brides I’ve encountered. She never missed an opportunity to throw her train over her shoulder and walk around barefoot!

While the girls were finishing up, Blake was over with the other groomsmen looking as handsome as ever! They seemed to be having just as much fun as the girls, and I was excited to get the whole group together later in the day. Great bridal parties can really make the day 10x better!

Once we got Blake and Jessie together, we did not stop laughing! These two are truly so fun and playful. They laughed together all day long, and just couldn’t stop smiling at each other!

Before continuing on with photos, they needed a quick drink break to help cool off!

It was the perfect sunny March day, though quite a bit hotter than any of us imagined. But that didn’t stop these two from having great attitudes. I truly think nothing could have brought them down on this awesome day! Even the sun beating down on us on the Pedestrian Bridge haha!

After their couples photos, we got the whole gang together! It was so much fun to see all these friends together. They are clearly an awesome support system for Jessie and Blake!

The ceremony was wonderful. A beautiful picture of love between two devoted people. Seeing them up there with those huge smiles on their faces just made you so happy for them! They are so precious together and are clearly meant to spend life with each other!

Check out that “just married” look of shock, excitement, and amazement! Never gets old hahaha!

The reception was such a fun party! They’re friends clearly like to have fun just as much as they do. Everyone had such a great time celebrating the new Hugheses!

At the end of the night, Blake and Jessie exited the Fennec to meet up with a pedicab – it was the cutest thing! I got some great photos of them driving away before the pedicab driver got stuck at the top of the hill! Blake and Jessie had to hop off and we couldn’t stop laughing about it!

To finish off the awesome night, I followed Blake and Jessie back to their hotel. Because what do you do after exiting your wedding? You jump on the hotel bed and eat more cake!!!

The best words to describe this day are “fun,” “playful,” and “AWESOME!” I love serving couples like Blake and Jessie that are so grateful to everyone who help make the day happen, including all the incredible vendors below!
