Catherine and Will’s wedding day could not have been more meaningful. On September 6, 2025, they tied the knot on the very same date Catherine’s grandparents were married, adding to an already lasting legacy. Surrounded by just 80 of their closest friends and family, it was an intimate day filled with joy, sentiment, and so much fun.
The morning began at the charming Clubhouse on Highland, a historic home in the center of Highland Park that set the perfect tone for the day. Built in 1910, every corner of the house holds character and warmth, and it felt like the perfect gathering space for family and friends. Catherine looked radiant even before she slipped into her dress, and the anticipation in the air was contagious!
When Catherine finally stepped out in her gown, her bridesmaids’ reactions said it all — complete awe! Their light green dresses made the prettiest compliment to her classic look. Then came a tender first look with her dad, a moment full of sweet smiles and laughter.
Catherine couldn’t have been more excited to see her groom. Little did she know, Will had a pretty sweet surprise up his sleeve. During their first look, he gifted Catherine a necklace featuring a family diamond, a piece she wore proudly for the rest of the day! The shock on her face said everything — it was a moment they’ll never forget.
Catherine carried the most elegant bouquet of calla lilies, a perfect match for her chic satin gown and ruffled train. Will couldn’t take his eyes off her — and honestly, who could blame him? The way they smiled at each other made every moment feel effortless and full of joy.
This wedding party was dressed to perfection! The groomsmen’s orchid boutonnières were truly show-stopping, and the whole group looked incredible against the stone architecture of the church. Catherine’s girls were so supportive — happily carrying Catherine’s stunning trumpet train and making sure it always looked perfect in photos.
Independent Presbyterian Church is breathtaking on its own, but with Catherine and Will standing at the altar, it felt like magic. The same sanctuary where Catherine’s parents said their vows years ago was now the setting for another chapter in her family’s story. Catherine even walked down the aisle wearing her mother’s wedding veil, the sentimental cherry on top!
After the ceremony, we slipped away for portraits before heading to the reception. The stone arches and timeless architecture of Independent Presbyterian Church created the dreamiest backdrop. Hand in hand, laughing together, they looked like they were made for being married to each other.
Back at the Clubhouse on Highland, the celebration kicked into high gear! A dueling piano group kept the dance floor full all night long — such a fun and unique touch.
Catherine and Will even had custom sunglasses made for their guests, which made for hilarious photos as everyone danced the night away. It was the perfect ending to a day full of love!
