Today I’m shooting my 100th wedding!
My very first wedding was in 2013. I was scared out of my mind, but also immensely grateful that someone would entrust that big day’s pictures and timeline to me. I edited thousands of pictures and burned them on two CDs for the couple. HA! How far we’ve come!
Fast forward nine years, and we’re at the end of my fifth year of full time photography. I cannot believe it, and I am so thankful for how the Lord opened doors for this job to become reality and beyond my wildest dreams.
I am so thankful for the many amazing couples I’ve had the privilege of serving. Shooting weddings is full of timelines, adrenaline rushes, wiping tears behind the camera, buttoning up dresses, dodging rain, shooting glorious sunsets, corralling groomsmen, coordinating with vendors, choosing outfits and sweating through others … man, it’s the dream job I never imagined.
So today I’m celebrating 100 weddings. All glory to God, and best wishes to my couples for happy + holy marriages!
Here are some of my favorite memories from the years…
