Watching Ren shed tears as Gretchen walked toward him, put on his ring, kissed him and walked down the aisle with him was precious. Guests sang a blessing to the tune of “Edelweiss” right before they were pronounced husband and wife, and I don’t think I’ve witnessed something so tender in a ceremony before.

These two have big and fun personalities, but they’re calm, intentional and thoughtful at the same time. That’s a rare combination, and these two have an extra measure of awesome! They are a force for the Gospel together and that shone through on December 29 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Gretchen and Ren, may you depend on Christ to keep the vows you made and never forget to hug and kiss every day (don’t think that’ll be an issue because you’re so cute and snuggly). Introducing THE HENRYS!
