September 30th, 2023 was a magical day of joy, fun and unforgettable moments celebrating Henderson and Davis’s love!

I had the privilege of getting to know this sweet couple throughout their engagement, and I can honestly say these are two people that love each other unconditionally. I had been looking forward to capturing their wedding since I met them for the first time, and the day did not disappoint!

After putting on her gorgeous wedding dress, Henderson had first looks with both her bridesmaids and her father! First looks are one of my favorite moments to capture on a wedding day. They always result in beautiful pictures of raw emotion and love. It just doesn’t get any sweeter!

Next up, it was Davis’s turn to see his beautiful bride! The moment their eyes met, a wave of emotion washed over them. Henderson’s shining smile left Davis in awe!

Before heading out to take portraits, they shared some personal vows with each other. We had to break out the tissues for those!

Next, we explored the grounds of St. Luke’s for their portraits! It’s a gorgeous venue, and there was no shortage of beautiful spots to take photos. Davis was such a helpful groom and did a great job of fluffing Henderson’s dress! It’s not as easy as it looks…

After a quick water break, we met up with the bridal party for some fun group pictures! This was a big, lively bunch, which can make coordinating harder, but always much more fun!

Henderson asked each of her bridesmaids to pick out their own blue dress for the wedding! They put together a stunning collection of blue florals and textures that perfectly complimented Henderson’s theme. *Chef’s kiss*

We tucked Henderson and Davis away as guests began to arrive for the ceremony. It’s always better if the couple can take a quick breather before the big moment!

Soon enough, it was time to walk down that aisle! The ceremony took place inside the church’s pavilion. The sun was beginning to set, and the windows cast the most interesting shadows all over the room. As a photographer that loves to play around with light, this was a test of my creative strengths!

Before meeting back up with guests, we slipped out to take advantage of the last bit of sun for the day. These two ran around the courtyard with the biggest smiles on their faces! They were finally MARRIED!

The ceremony may have been over, but the party was just beginning! Henderson and Davis truly stole the show on the dance floor. The party felt like it could go for hours! Light-up tambourines always add an extra layer of fun, and by the end of the night, we were all left with sore legs from hours of enthusiastic celebration!

At the end of the night, guests gathered outside for the sparkler send-off! Davis and Henderson moved into a classic dip-and-kiss as they ran down the aisle, and just as they were about to come up, Davis lost his balance and fell over!

Thankfully, they both couldn’t stop laughing about it. They quickly recovered for one more kiss as the crowd laughed and cheered for them both!

It was the greatest privilege to serve Henderson and Davis on their wedding day! And here’s a HUGE thank you to all the other vendors that made the day possible!
