The Chiangs got married at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia on September 10 and it was a special and unique day … from the traditional Chinese dress to Melissa’s grandmother’s pearls to the beautiful DIY details, it was such a sweet day celebrating these two! Their family and friends were so welcoming, and we even ended the day with a Chinese banquet to pay homage to the groom’s heritage!
Melissa and Sean were so relaxed and at peace all day, which made everything run so smoothly. This made my job as a photographer SO easy; I love when couples just “get” the purpose of the wedding day – the making of a covenant. The Chiang’s relaxed spirit also really made the details and small moments so sweet, like praying with parents before the ceremony, twirling in the bride’s room with her niece and Melissa singing to Sean during the ceremony.
The day ended with a fun getaway in a bright red car- which matched Melissa’s dress change! Congrats, you two! You’re finally the Chiangs!
