I remember the day I watched a lightbulb go off in her head. Kelly and I lived together, and she sheepishly walked into my room at 9:30am on a Saturday and said the following.

Kelly: “Good morning!”

Eleanor: “Well hi! You’re very smiley this morning! What happened?”

Kelly: “I like Blake!”

Eleanor: “WHAAAAT? YOU DO?!?!?”

*Squealing ensues and the smile hasn’t come off her face since*

It is the sweetest memory recalling when she first started to fall in love, and now they are MARRIED! Blake, you’ve got the best roomie around!

March 4th, 2023 was truly the most perfect day EVER. The weather was lovely (a springy 70 degrees) and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. It was a beautiful setting for an absolutely beautiful day.

Kelly was astonishingly gorgeous in her wedding gown. Look at her transform into the most beautiful bride! Her mom and sister helped her into her gown, and the love in their eyes is just overflowing.

Kelly kept her gown a secret from the bridesmaids. It was the cutest first look, and they just loved her dress! I was lucky enough to see it two weeks earlier – perks of being a photographer! If you haven’t seen all the photos from Kelly’s bridal portraits, you’ll definitely want to take a look here!

And, of course, Blake looked so dashing in his suit! His mom could not have been more proud of her sweet boy.

I was SO excited for this first look. When choosing her wedding gown, Kelly said she could perfectly picture Blake seeing her in that dress. That’s how she knew! And Blake was speechless! It was such a beautiful moment to witness.

Next, we hopped in the car and took a quick trip to Sibyl Temple for some fun couple portraits! This is where Blake proposed to Kelly, so we just had to make an appearance!

And then it was back to Shades to take a few more pics and a fun ride in the elevator! Kelly loved the idea of taking photos in front of the beautiful stained glass wall.

After, we met up with the bridal party for some group photos. Let me tell you guys, this group absolutely ROCKED. They were Blake and Kelly’s biggest cheerleaders the whole day. It was so sweet to see them love on their best friends!

Once guests began arriving for the ceremony, we knew it was GO TIME! There were 450+ people in attendance, and every single one of them couldn’t have been more excited to support Kelly and Blake. Shades Mountain Baptist Pastor George Wright officiated the ceremony, and had a special moment of prayer with the wedding party before it began.

And then we were off to the reception at Vestavia Country Club! They had breakfast for dinner, talked to so many friendly faces, ate some super tasty cake, and enjoyed being MARRIED!

While guests started to *get down* on the dance floor, Kelly, Blake and I snuck out for some sunset photos.

Then it was back to the partayyyyy! Kelly and Blake boogied the night away with all their best friends.

The day couldn’t have been better! Kelly didn’t wipe the enthusiastic smile off her face once! It was the biggest honour to photograph this day, take care of Kelly, and make her feel confident. I love these two more than words!  Cheers to the Sellers!
