One of my very best friends, Kelly, got married this past weekend! Since I’m still working on the photos from their AWESOME wedding, I just had to share her beautiful bridal portraits in the meantime.
Kelly is the most jaw-droppingly beautiful bride, inside and out! She’s the sweetest friend. The most humble servant. And, of course, the most effortlessly stunning wife to Blake!
Kelly met up with me at the Vestavia Country Club (their incredible wedding venue) before her big day to capture her bridal portraits. This session was such a tremendous joy to be a part of.
I loved getting to tend to Kelly, carry her train, guide her through how to stand, make her laugh and secure her dress buttons!
There is a pose I’ve nicknamed “The Kelly,” and I think you’ll be able to spot it multiple times.
There was a golf tournament the day we were there, so it was real busy! But, we got to photograph in front of the clubhouse and grab a few out on the course thanks to a nice man offering to wait for us!
Kelly’s dress was absolutely STUNNING. You’ll also see a photo of her wearing her sister’s veil, a special gift to Kelly as her “something borrowed.”
1…2…3…ta da! The detachable train is off, and look #2 is here! Having two bridal looks is just SO FUN!
Kelly’s mom, Karen, came to help towards the end, and I got some absolutely adorable shots of them. They both love each other so much!
And of course, I had to sneak a picture with her towards the end. It was the greatest honor to photograph these portraits for Kelly, and an evenĀ greaterĀ honor to photograph her and Blake’s wedding! Stay tuned, because those photos will be coming soon!
