Sweat was dripping down our faces.

It could’ve been confused with tears, but NOPE, it was sweat. June 22 was one of the hottest days I’ve ever photographed, but it couldn’t have been a sweeter atmosphere at Little Gardens in Lawrenceville, Georgia! Though Rachael + Jimmy now live in Pensacola, she went back to her Georgia roots and got married to her love in a beautiful courtyard 30 minutes outside Atlanta.

Fans whirred during the outdoor ceremony. Sips of lemon water were taken. Flower petals fell against the center aisle to pave the way. And there she was… beaming. Standing at one end of the aisle was his long-awaited bride next to her Dad. And standing at the other was her pursuer. It was a beautiful picture of Christ and His church as the bride was led up to the altar, presented in her most glorious state to be forever one with her groom.

They said vows and I do’s and slipped on sacred rings. Then the party started! Phone camera flashes lit up the night sky. Glasses clinked during toasts. Sparkler showers surrounded the couple. And the party was hopping! It was such a joy photographing the bumpin’ dance floor as these two celebrated their new marriage.

Rachael + Jimmy, may your marriage be about celebrating one another. Celebrating who God made you both to be. Celebrating the great things about the other and being their biggest cheerleader. Thank you for the honour of photographing your day!
