On January 7th, 2023, Erin and Mike said “I do!” This Birmingham, Alabama wedding photographer had the privilege of traveling to Roswell, Georgia for their big day. The Primrose Cottage wedding venue was the perfect location to celebrate these two wonderful people.

It was just the sweetest day full of love and happy memories. Erin and I grew up at church together, and I knew quite a few people at the wedding. It’s always fun and fulfilling when you get to work for people you know and love!

The weather was surprisingly beautiful for early January. Even the chilly breeze wasn’t enough to throw Erin off her game – she was genuinely excited the whole day! Absolutely no nerves at all (as far as I could tell!). I knew she was just so happy to finally be committing herself to Mike. You could see the pure joy in both of their smiles. It was so beautiful!

The reception was such a BLAST! These two know how to throw a party, let me tell you. At one point, someone gave a bridesmaid a tambourine, and that was all it took to get everyone out on the dance floor for an iconic wedding rendition of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen!” Shortly after, a guest came out in jean underwear (???) and it certainly was a sight to behold.

All in all, Erin and Mike had a gorgeous wedding day and I was privileged enough to capture it for them. I will forever remember their joy-filled faces (and that jean underwear…).
