Reagan and Annalise might just be one of the mostĀ preciousĀ couples I have ever met. Their wedding day was filled to the brim with tender moments, and I had the pleasure of capturing them all! As I combed through these photos and finalized their gallery, I found myself smiling at all the sweet memories from this special day, and I’m so excited to share them with you!
The girls got ready at Christ Fellowship Church, where Reagan and Annalise attend and where the ceremony would commence later that day. The weather was absolutely perfect for us, and we took advantage of it as much as we possibly could! We stepped outside under the church’s awning for the Bridesmaid’s first look with Annalise, and their reactions were priceless. They couldn’t stop gushing over how beautiful she looked, and rightfully so!
The first look with Dad always produces one of the most tender moments of the day. Annalise’s mom and sister were standing nearby to watch, and it made for such a special memory. I particularly loved watching Annalise’s mom and dad carry her train to the car as we left for our next location – it was an impromptu but moving moment of love shared between their family.
We arrived for Reagan and Annalise’s first look at Samford University and quickly got the couple in place. From this point on, the smiles never stopped!
As they read heartfelt letters to each other, I was privileged to witness Reagan gazing at his soon-to-be bride with tears of joy in his eyes. Annalise, with her tender temperament, glowed with happiness.
Afterwards, we spent some time wandering around Samford’s campus taking portraits and genuinely enjoying this beautiful day! Annalise and Reagan make for such a sweet pair, and I feel like their love for each other just pours out of each of these photos.
Once we arrived back at CFC, we met up with the wedding party for some group photos. They couldn’t have been happier for Annalise and Reagan, and genuinely seemed so proud to be standing by the couple’s side! Such a sweet display of love and friendship.
As guests gathered for the ceremony, we gave Reagan and Annalise a moment to breathe before the main event! Their service was incredibly moving and included a moment of worship that I’m so lucky to have witnessed.
The community at CFC means a lot to them both. Annalise, originally from Texas, moved to Alabama for grad school, never expecting to stay. However, the Lord had other plans! She met Reagan through their church and their love story blossomed. Now, they’re planting roots in Birmingham, surrounded by a church family that’s deeply invested in their journey together.
Reagan, Annalise and I were some of the first people to make it to the reception at BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft, so they got a sneak peek of the reception setup before everyone arrived. Watching their faces light up with joy and amazement as they saw their venue was such a fun moment!
Guests cheered as Reagan and Annalise entered for their first dance, so excited to see them together as Mr. and Mrs. Wells! They mingled, cut their cake and enjoyed every minute of the evening as a brand new married couple.
Before the sun officially set on this beautiful day, we slipped out of the reception for a few minutes of portraits on the nearby Pedestrian Bridge. These are some of my favourite photos from the entire day. The joy on their faces is so evident, and capturing it was such a privilege.
Annalise and Reagan returned to the reception to dance the night away with their friends and family. I loved watching them celebrate, and I couldn’t help but feel grateful to have been a part of such a special day. Reagan and Annalise’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their love – filled with joy, tenderness and a bright future ahead!
