Rebecca and David’s wedding day began just as the sun was beginning to rise. Rebecca and her girls gathered at Pine Tree Country Club, where the reception would later be held, starting hair and makeup at 6:30am with the incredible Natalie Moore. When I arrived, everyone was in the best spirits, chatting and laughing while looking absolutely stunning. I slipped away to photograph Rebecca’s details while sitting on the floor of the reception space, watching Lori Beasley with Delta Flowers (and her sweet son!) snip over 200 roses for the bud vases. The day before, Rebecca, David, their families, and their coordinator, Carli Jo with Threefold Events, spent more than eight hours transforming the entire reception setup. This included placing over 500 candles throughout the tables. Whew!

Once Rebecca slipped into her gown, she and her dad shared the most heartfelt first look out on the golf course. The breeze, the morning light, the backdrop…it all came together, and the tears started immediately, a theme that would continue throughout the day!

Rebecca and David were itching to see each other at this point in the day. They shared the sweetest first look, and after a few quick portraits, we headed to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for the ceremony!

Rebecca and David rode with me to the church, and during the drive I asked David if he would pray over the ceremony, the reception, and everyone’s nerves. We had a nice, grounding moment before stepping into the most meaningful part of the day, where they would commit their lives to one another before the Lord.

After their beautiful ceremony, we had a two-hour window before cocktail hour began back at Pine Tree Country Club, which meant bonus portrait time! We drove first to Crest Road, where the most vibrant yellow flowers were blooming!

Then, it was back to Pine Tree for Rebecca’s dress and hair change! She and David were eager to greet and hug all their people, so they popped into cocktail hour for a bit before we jumped into golf carts for sunset portraits. I sent the drone into the sky and absolutely love the results. These were some of my favorite minutes from the day: laughing, dancing, and breathing easy again after all the nerves had faded!

The reception just flew by! Rebecca and David cut their gorgeous cakes, and the surprise hit of the night was the Italian Cookie Table. David’s mom, Jenny, baked over 2,000 cookies for the celebration! They disappeared so fast that the coordinating team had to constantly refill the table.

On the dance floor, DJ Kelz from Superior Sound kept the energy high all night, kicking things off with the crowd-favorite Italian wedding dance. Every single guest jumped in, and once the dance floor filled, it stayed full for the rest of the night! Rebecca and David ended their incredible day with a glowing sparkler exit, the perfect finale. I’m so grateful for this day spent with them and the amazing vendor team that made it all happen!
