Today I have a lot to do.
I sometimes feel like I’m sinking in the piles of work that are assigned, and the piles of extra work that I self-inflict.
But today, amidst the craziness, I am resting. Resting in God’s goodness, taking assignments one at a time, enjoying creation as I sit outside and read. Although exhaustion sets in, I stand firm in an unwavering God who offers His strength in place of my fragility and weakness. Rest today, my friend. What a lovely word it is!
