“I loved growing up with you and I can’t wait to grow old with you.”

Talk about a tear-jerking today! Leah and Preston Smith got married at their childhood church, Shades Crest Baptist in Bluff Park. They’ve served there most of their lives, and continue to do so. I love the faithfulness of these two. Their commitment, respect for each other, love and fun they have together is inspiring.

Everything about their day was God-honouring and paid homage to their families and their relationship… from frames with family photos to matching shoes with her grandmother, Leah was the epitome of class.

A few months ago at their engagement session, we realized that we were about to be neighbors! Leah and Preston moved in to my townhome complex and I’m so looking forward to continuing a friendship with them. We even saw each other twice (once on a plane, another at a wedding) after they got married!
