Taylor + Hunter: Abigail in Albany, GA

Hunter has wanted to marry Taylor since he was in the 8th grade. On Saturday, May 13, that dream finally came true!

I woke up early that morning and walked through the fog and damp grass to capture some scenic shots of the venue. It felt absolutely magical.

Taylor and Hunter got married at a privately owned residence in Albany, Georgia. The home was absolutely phenomenal. The interior of the home had an 1830’s victorian vibe, and I was here for it!

I specifically loved the “Blue Room,” which coordinated perfectly with Taylor and Hunter’s invitation suite and reception details.

I’ve been good friends with Taylor for 7 years now, so getting to spend this day with her was such a precious gift. She and her bridesmaids had a relaxing morning laughing, reminiscing, and preparing for the day ahead!

Taylor’s dress was nothing short of perfect. She’s already a model, but WOW she looked absolutely incredible! Her bridesmaids though so too. Their reactions during the first look were priceless!

Then it was time for Taylor’s first look with her sweet father. These are some of the most special moments I get to capture on a wedding day.

When all the bridesmaids were dressed, we met them out underneath perhaps the biggest oak tree I’ve ever seen. They all looked so beautiful standing together around Taylor! I had to sneak a photo in as well 😉

Of course, the guys looked just as handsome! I can always count on the groomsmen to come up with the goofiest poses.

Taylor and Hunter didn’t do a first look, and I honestly loved it. Her walk down from the house was truly one of the most majestic views I’ve ever seen! She and her dad had a long walk down together, and it just felt like a beautiful picture of Christ’s bride walking towards their groom.

The guests headed towards the reception and we stuck around for some sweet photos with friends and family.

And now, the moment I wait all day for, couple’s portraits!!!

A funny note about Hunter: this man is hilarious and throws a thumbs-up wherever he goes. I think it’s just a natural reflex at this point? It might annoy Taylor a little bit, so he had to be sneaky and pop one in whenever he could. I definitely photographed them all!

Right in front of the home, there is a long expanse of land with some of the greenest grass I’ve ever seen. Naturally, we had Taylor and Hunter run across it in their wedding attire.

When it was finally time to meet up with guests, Taylor and Hunter wasted no time getting right to the PARTY! This night was an absolute blast! We were SO sweaty and gross, but we ended up shooting barefoot in the grass which felt so summery!

Their band was AWESOME and was so engaging with the crows! Everyone was so hype to party with Taylor and Hunter. I know for a fact that the party continued after their exit, because I could still hear it when going to bed in the house that night!

I’m just so happy for Mr. and Mrs. Green! I love them so much and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for their lives together.
