In this post, you’ll find the culmination of five years of dating, long distance engagement and the happiest wedding day! Nicole + Michael got married right as word of the coronavirus hit, when none of us really knew how much it would affect life. Yet, by God’s grace, Nicole + Michael were able to celebrate with family and friends on a gorgeous spring day at The Barn at Shady Lane! Unaware of how COVID-19 would affect their newly married life, they made vows to one another “in sickness and health, for richer or poorer, forsaking all others.” And I really couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to start a covenant relationship.

From the get-go of getting to know Nicole + Michael, we became fast friends! I loved getting to know Nicole over coffee, walks and through text, walking with her through the highs and lows of engagement. As plans shifted, as Michael moved cities and as she endured surgery, Nicole was ever-trusting in our kind God. March 14 was such a happy day, and it was a joy to walk through engagement season with these two!

Nicole + Michael, may you continue to display trust and confidence that our God works ALL things for good as you choose one another daily. I love you both!
