February 18th, 2023 was the perfectĀ winter day for a Birmingham wedding. The gorgeous weather provided a beautiful backdrop for us, and boy did we take advantage of it! I always love the cool, wintry light that can be found in the early months of the year, so I already knew Kate and Jonathan’s wedding day would be one to remember.

Kate kept her wedding party small and intimate, but made sure to include all her best friends that morning while getting ready. They were anĀ incredibleĀ hype squad while she got her makeup done, slipped on her gorgeous wedding down and got ready to marry Jonathan! It was a fun, relaxing morning at the house surrounded by friends and family.

Before getting into her gown, she read a letter that Jonathan gave her for the morning-of. I imagine it was filled with the most loving words and excitement for the day ahead. It certainly put a beautiful smile on Kate’s face!

And then comes one of my favorite parts of the wedding day: the gown reveal! Kate’s gown was absolutely stunning. It couldn’t have been more perfect for her!

Kate and her father shared a special first look. Both her parents seemed so proud of their sweet daughter!

I know Kate was looking forward to her first look with Jonathan from the moment she woke up that morning! She was so excited to see him, and the photos turned out absolutely precious. Jonathan read the letter that Kate wrote him before she entered, perfectly setting the scene!

Kate and Jonathan’s family could not have been more excited for them! It was so special to see them all come together and celebrate two of they people they all love most.

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. I especially loved all the precious moments of prayer, and all the love you could see in Kate and Jonathan’s eyes. There were some sweet tears of joy shed after it was all over.

Here’s how I knew how in love these two were: I hardly had to guide them into any poses! They were so effortlessly sweet together, and their love just seemed to roll off each other in waves. I had no trouble at all capturing their beautiful emotions and feelings for each other.

I’m thankful for the winter breeze that blew her veil just perfectly for all these photos!

Onto the reception! These two didn’t hire a coordinator, but Kate’s family members absolutely CRUSHED it. The day went off without a hitch! I could seeĀ justĀ how much effort they all put into making the day as perfect as possible.

The infamous Tim Tyler provided entertainment, and folks, heĀ neverĀ disappoints.

All in all, this day was a beautiful celebration of Kate and Jonathan’s love. I’m thankful for Kate’s family who planned and executed the day, and all the other vendors that made this day so special for the couple.
