Jessi was with me the day I got my very first camera in 2014 – a Canon Powershot. I was obsessed with the macro setting, so during a lunchbreak in a random field in Wales, she and I experimented with it. It was my first taste of playing with light, focusing on objects and the like … truly the most basic skills to learn with a new camera! And they were NOT GOOD 😂  Exhibit A:

After years of being friends and going on mission trips together and living in different cities, I was delighted with Jessi called asking if I would photograph her and Landon’s wedding in Athens, Georgia. It was such a humbling experience saying yes, because Jessi had literally seen me as a nerdy camera girl 14 years ago and trusted me to capture the most significant day of her life! Her and Landon’s day had many threats to it, but on a beautiful yet cold January day, they committed their lives to one another. What a gift it was to document it all!
