Tori | Walkin’ In Homewood Portraits

In a few weeks, I’m teaching a photography course to aspiring worship arts leaders. Animate is an annual camp that uses Biblical, Christ-centered principles to help students hone worship leadership skills and discover how worship, theology and the arts intersect.

This will be my first time teaching any type of class, and I’m stoked! I’m more of a writer than a speaker, but I’m excited to share this gift with students who want to use the arts for the Gospel.

In preparing for this, my friend Tori and I walked around Homewood as we chatted aperture, shutter speed, ISO and how light works. My new 50mm came in the mail the other day (nice to have ya back in the bag) and it was fun to spend time with Tori, play with my lens and photograph a random cat who was terrified of the camera shutter!

Tori is great to hang out with, because she’s easy-going, kind, funny and asks great questions. I have a feeling that these pictures capture her pretty well! 🙂 Hope you enjoy!
